How To Use Safe Link Extension
Download
- Click "Get the Extension"

Check Link

- Find a Link You Want to Check
Hover over or find any hyperlink on a webpage. - Right-Click on the Link
Using your mouse, right-click on the link you're unsure about. - Select "Check link safety"
In the context menu that appears, click on the option labeled "Check link safety." - View the Safety Results
A popup will open showing whether the link is safe, suspicious, or dangerous.
Method 2: Use the Extension Popup
- Copy the Link
Highlight the link you want to check and copy it (Right-click → Copy or press Ctrl+C / Cmd+C). - Click the Safe Link Extension Icon
In the top-right corner of Chrome, click the Safe Link icon (the green shield icon). - Paste the Link into the Input Box
In the extension popup, paste your link into the input field (Right-click → Paste or press Ctrl+V / Cmd+V). - Click "Check"
Hit the Check button to scan the link. - View the Result
The extension will show the safety status of the link right away.
